Parasites are an American pop-punk band. They were formed in the late 1980s by guitarist / singer Dave Parasite and bassist Ron Nole in New Jersey. Dave later relocated to Berkeley, California, and continued with a new lineup during the heyday of Lookout! Records and the Bay Area pop-punk revival.
Charlie joined the band on bass in late 2013. Between 2014 and 2016, he was their lead guitarist, moving back to bass in 2017 and then to drums in 2017-2018. He played guitar and mixed the 2015 live album Rock You Like A Funnel Cake and plays on a 2018 single. He contributed a cover of "Waiting Game" to the 2015 tribute album Parasongs. He also mastered a 2020 split single and the 2023 archival release EP-Onymous.
